A Soldier’s Journey Home, a national nonprofit, is rallying first responders, veterans, and tradespeople to complete the 4,000-square-foot build for Nathan Kalwicki and his wife, Veronica.
Kalwicki, who lost his leg and faced other serious injuries in a 2011 Afghanistan mission, said he’s deeply moved by the generosity surrounding the project.
Local support, including significant help from businesses and residents like Scott Beiler and TRS Heating & Air Conditioning, has fueled the rapid construction, aiming for completion in just two weeks.
